The use of carbon fibre in automobile segment is only to make the vehicle lightweight, but with British racing firm McLaren the use is dual - they also make them design worthy.
First launched during the 2012 Paris Auto Show, McLaren’s P1 is a 3.8 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine car that is a plug-in hybrid that can go up to speeds of 350 km/hr.
Only 375 were produced until 2015.
