Created by legendary designer Gordon Murray, the McLaren F1 GTR is the racing version of their first produced sports car. This car is powered by a naturally aspirated* BMW S70/2 V12 engine. 

At the 24 hours, 13,600 km Le Mans race held on 16th June, 1996 this car #33 sponsored by engine oil brand Gulf and driven by Finnish J.J. Lehto, and Britishers James Weaver / Ray Bellm stood in the 9th place.
