
This bus model, 102DL3 was developed by a North Dakota, USA based firm called Motor Coach Industries (MCI) on the orders of Greyhound Canada after a request from the Canadian government to make inter-city buses with easy accessbility for wheelchair bound passengers.
The engine used was a DDC (Detroit diesel) made 60 Series engine having a large radiator. And the bus stood long at 45 feet with a provision of a wheelchair friendly toilet provided at the rear.
This is a rare metal model and is only one of the 2900 pieces produced in the year 2002.
