A breakthrough model developed at the Minsk factory, in Belarus, the MAZ 520 was designed to carry super loads. Both the front axles could be steered while the drive was through the rear axle.
The MAZ built trailer (# 5205) was developed by the Minsk factory specifically for the MAZ trucks in the seventies. This trailer model had a capacity to carry 20 tons of load.
