MAN Oil Tanker – Esso Scale - 1:43

M.A.N launched these trucks in 1956. It's fully enveloped truck body design with the engine placed ahead of the driver's cabin with shorter bonnet meant lesser cabin temperature and more driver comfort.

Since it had a car like ponton design (instead of freestanding fenders) these MAN trucks were called Ponton-Kurzhauber.

Built until as late as 1994, oil firm Esso used these model too for transportation.
