The first in-house Land Rover was produced in 1948. This was called Series I and was produced for nearly a decade. The Series II was launched in 1958 and came in two different length sizes 2200 mm (also known as 88) and 2800 mm (also known as 109) long.
Made by British Motors Corporation (BMC), the Mini is a 2-door family car that was so hugely popular that it was known as Britain's "people's car."
