KAZ 608 Trailer Bus – AEROFLOT Scale - 1:43

Popularly known as Kolkhida (it meant square shaped like a brick) this series of tractor trucks were later named as KAZ as it was made at the Kultaisi Automotive Works at a place called Kultaisi in Georgia (now Central Asia). This series of 608 truck was the first Soviet-made truck with no-bonnet design. The year was 1962.

The semi-trailer truck could travel at a speed of 70 km/hr and take a payload of 15.5 tons. Though this didn’t become as popular as other truck brands, several of them were used as Airport trailer buses in the former Soviet Union.
