Unveiled for the first time during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Jeep made Wrangler Rubicon (also known as JK) is the third generation off-road vehicle.
Following the same construction pattern as Jeep’s Willys MB and the CJ series in the past, the Wrangler has a fold-flat windscreen, rigid axles in the front & rear and 4WD. The only difference this time was the 4-door concept that was introduced through this JK.
All Rubicon models feature a special 4WD system called the Rock-Trac system in which the low 4:1 gear ratio helps in getting an extremely low-speed torque.
This model is used by the US Customs & Border Protection team.
