The Jeep Wagoneer could probably be considered as the first luxury 4 x 4 SUV. Produced between 1962 and 1991, this station wagon model is the 3rd longest produced single generation car (29 years) which is a tremendous record, given the fact that taste keeps changing with times.
By 1989 when the brand Jeep was already under FCA (FIAT Chrysler Automobiles), the Wagoneer had already gone through several changes since the model’s beginning. Though consumption of petrol was highest because of her powerful 5.9 litre V8 engine, people still preferred it because of her towing capability.
This 1989 model is considered to be the best Jeep Grand Wagoneer produced among all other years and commands the highest premium among all Wagoneer’s.
