Jeep CJ-7 Renegade Scale - 1:18

Beginning 1945, the Jeep marque was applied for all kinds of off-road vehicles, pick-up trucks and several other variants made by the firm Willys. The CJ model  (CJ = Civilian Jeep) was Jeep’s flag-bearer for over 40 years. It was released in several avatars beginning CJ-1 and ending with the model CJ-10 and 10A in 1986. In between the models released were CJ-2, CJ-2A, CJ-3A, CJ-4, CJ-5, CJ-6, CJ-5A, CJ-6A, CJ-7, CJ-8 (Scrambler).

This model CJ-7 also was released under different names (based on features) and was also known as the SsangYong Korando in South Korea. The model was first launched in 1976 and was produced for nearly a decade before being succeeded by today’s Jeep Wrangler series.

What was essentially different from her earlier avatar called the CJ-5 was the wheelbase that was 10 inch longer besides the change in design of the chassis that had two straight longitudinal C-section rails.

This model called the Jeep CJ-7 Renegade had white wheel spoke, nutmeg or blue or black seat colour options, and a ‘sporty’ steering wheel.
