A luxury car, the Jaguar Mk V was a drophead coupe (also written as DHC*) car that was produced during the years 1948-1951.
What was unique about this car was that it was not only the first Jaguar to have hydraulic brakes, flashing turning lights, independent front suspension, but also the first car to be made in right-hand drive (RHD) and left-hand drive (LHD) configurations (the LHD was produced keeping in mind the huge American market). Almost 10,500 were produced.
* a drophead coupe is a car that has 2-doors but can conveniently seat 4 passengers and having a soft fabric roof
