JAWA 350 2xOHC - Gustav Havel Scale - 1:18

The JAWA 350 cc motorcycle first produced in the 1950s and having a 2-stroke air-cooled engine would reach speeds of over 125 km/hr. This model also became Eastern Bloc’s most favourite motorcycle for racing competing with brands such as Agusta, Yamaha, etc. And after modifying the bike by fixing a twin engine and giving it 4-cylinders, this bike would participate in more powerful races.

Gustav Havel, who was born in Czechoslovakia was a Czech champion in various categories and would race all his life race on a JAWA like his fellow compatriot Frantisek Stasny. This bike also would win few championships including this won in the racing track of Brno (now Czech Republic), in 1961.
