First made in the year 1997 as the Atos, this Hyundai had various names such as Amica (UK), Kia Visto (Indonesia), Santro (India / Pakistan) and also as the Atoz in certain markets.
With a smaller 1 litre engine, this small car took the challenge of Suzuki's monopoly in several markets. By 2007 this model was phased out with Hyundai's i10 that was made in India.
The Hyundai Atos were used as taxis in the capital city of Colombia i.e. Bogota.
