If Adolf Hitler adored cars from Mercedes-Benz cars, his men Heinrich Himmler and Hermann Goering liked the Horch’s.
Horch developed this powerful 5-litre engine model to counter Mercedes popularity of the 500K and the 540K. Known as Horch 853, this model was considered to be one of the world’s most superbly engineered car in the late 1930s.
The Horch 853 weighed nearly 3 tons, had a V8 engine and got produced for the next four years (1935-1939). Over 400 were built.
