This 750cc engine bike was Honda’s most expensive product offering in the mid-eighties. It was created specifically for homologation so that this bike model could participate in World Superbike Championships.
The first VFR 750R RC30, released in 1987, featured a 16-valve gear-driven double overhead camshaft liquid-cooled RC24-derived 90° V4. Its top speed was 250 km/h, and this model was sold in Japan, Europe, and the USA.
Only 3000 units were produced.
