Leon Rubay a Frenchman started his working career at the well-known coachbuilder Rothschild in USA. He later returned to France and created some of the well-known cars of those times. One of which was this giant six-wheeled, 6 cylinder car that was commissioned by the King of Greece - Constantine I, in 1922.
Essentially an H6 model with a straight-six engine, this 6.5 litre engine car was very powerful. Produced until 1933, little over 2500 were made.
The Hispano Suiza H6A, however, could not be used by him as he had to abdicate his throne by the time the car was ready.
