Aircraft manufacturer Heinkel, from Germany, manufactured this microcar with a single cylinder, 4-stroke, 175 cc engine during the years 1956-1958. About 8000 cars were produced in Germany.
The production licence to make these in Great Britain was acquired by an Irish based company called Trojan Cars Ltd., which produced about 6000 of these microcars under the Trojan name from 1958 until 1965.
