The Ford made Transit range of vans is one of the most success stories in the commercial segment. Designed primarily to cater to small businesses, the brand continued to be developed since 1965 when it was first launched. Nearly 80 lakh vans have been sold for over 50 years.
Introduced to the public as the successor to the Ford made Thames 400E, the Transit was first made in the UK, then produced later in Belgium. Soon this model was being produced in distant Korea and New Zealand.
This scale model is an exact rendition of the first generation model that lasted for nearly a decade without any changes. Oil brand Castrol used these vans for delivering goods.
