Made by the Ford Motor Co.’s UK based unit, the Thames Trader was a light commercial vehicle made during the years 1957-1965. What set apart this model compared to other British-made trucks was its cab-forward design. With a payload capacity of 2-6 tons, these trucks were quite popular in the sixties.
Ever Ready is a brand of batteries produced by the Eveready Battery Co. since 1896. This brand has been operating in India since 1905 and set up its first plant in Calcutta (now Kolkata) in 1939.
