This car that got launched in 1965 was known by several names. Built first by Shelby Cobra (later by the Ford Motor Co.), this car was called as Mustang Shelby, Mustang GT350 and Shelby GT350 Cobra.
Having a Ford made 289 cubic inch water-cooled engine with a 4-barrel carburetor, this car had 11-inch Kelsey Hayes drum brakes. Only few cars were painted with Le Mans stripes, that ran the entire length of the car.
In 1965, only a little over 550 cars were produced with the Shelby badge. This metal model is a rendition of the same car with stripes.
