Marketed as an Urban Activity Vehicle (UAV), the Ford Fusion was developed for the European market and launched in 2002. An UAV is supposed to be a cross between a conventional car and a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV).
This high-roofed European model was marketed in India as a "No-nonsense car" in 2004 and did sell a few numbers.
