While the World War II was raging, car production had stopped as automobile makers catered to military production. And so the Ford Motor Company had a number of auto parts that had piled up. Henry Ford saw the opportunity to develop a new car range called the 1946 range. The first model that rolled out was a Super DeLuxe Tudor Sedan.
Other versions followed with 100 HP engine capacity. One of the models was the Ford Fordor. A number of these were seen in New York as Taxis.
