
Field guns are the most versatile guns that can be easily transported and used as per changing scenario in war battles.
The BS-3 100 mm Field Gun (Technical name M1944) was developed by the Soviets just during the end of the last phase of the World War II. They were sold to several countries and even after the passage of 60-70 years they are still used by many. These guns saw fierce action during the Arab-Israeli conflict (Yom Kippur war) and the Vietnam war.
These field guns were also used by India during both the wars with Pakistan in 1965 and 1971.
