A series of mid-engined cars made since the late 1960’s, the Dino 206 GT was a creation of coachbuilders Scaglietti with design inputs from Fioravanti and Brovarone of design firm Pininfarina. Personally, Enzo Ferrari was not convinced about the performance of this car and so he chose the name the car as Dino, instead of using the name Ferrari directly. With a 2.0 litre V6 engine under the bonnet, this car was fixed with a more powerful 2.4 litre engine after sometime.
Produced during the years 1967-1974, the Ferrari Dino 246 GT proved her mettle with her design and the ability to easily do 240 km/hr. Because of these factors, over 3700 cars were produced making this Ferrari model the most liked car, during the early 70’s.
