Made specifically for the North American marker Ferrari’s 400 Superamerica was a Grand Tourer* car with the most powerful engine and top-class luxury.
With a powerful V12 4-litre engine, the car debuted in 1959 with 400 cars that rolled out subsequently. The design was also the work of Italian design house Pininfarina.
* Grand Tourer cars are those sports cars that can seat 4 persons and have all the luxuries of any saloon car. Termed as GT, it also stands for the Italian word with the same meaning i.e. Gran Turismo
