A Grand Tourer* (GT) in 2+2 configuration, the Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 was produced to replace the model Ferrari 365 GTC4. Though just 525 of the pure-bred were produced during it’s production period, however it’s design and mechanical elements were carried over to other models Ferrari 400 and the most luxurious Ferrari 412.
This model was designed by Leonardo Fioravanti of Pininfarina who also designed the Testarossa, F40, etc.
* Grand Tourer cars are those sports cars that can seat 4 persons and have all the comforts of a luxury saloon car. Known also as GT, the Italian word is Gran Turismo
