Fardier de Cugnot - 1769 Scale - 1:43

Though disputed by some, it is actually a Frenchman Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot who built the first working model of a self propelled mechanical vehicle in 1769. Or simply, the worlds first automobile.

Nicolas-Joseph made a device that converted the reciprocating motion of a steam piston in to rotary motion by means of rachet arrangement. This was also known as "Fardier" as it resembled a horse drawn cart that were used in those days to move heavy equipments. His creation could carry up to 2 persons and move about 8 kms at a speed of 3.6 km/hr.

An extremely rare collectible that will only grow in value in the coming years. MADE IN ITALY product.
