In 1949, Ford UK built this FORDSON model to be used as buses and trucks. It had a 4.7 litre Perkins engine and could carry a payload of 8 tons. The body was built by Briggs Motor Bodies. These were also used as Public Transport buses in the Mediterranean island nation of Malta.
This model resembles very closely to the Dodge FARGO (with the 'parrot nose' ) made by Premier Automobiles in India in the 70's.
