Sold by FIAT during the years 1964-1973, this small 850 cc rear-engine car had four variants for the public. They were,
- Fiat 850 Special
- Fiat 850 Familiare
- Fiat 850 Coupé and
- Fiat 850 Sport Spider
The FIAT 850 Sport Spider was actually designed and constructed by Italian design firm, Bertone. It had recessed headlamps with a plexiglass cover. The side panels on the car were also unique – the steel panels were constructed with a small dihedral angle.
