Introduced in 1937, the FIAT made Balilla 1100 model (popular referred to as 508C) was a ‘people’s car’.
With an 1100 cc engine, this car with more modifications superseded her earlier avatar, the 508 Balilla. This new car with a 4-speed gearbox could travel up to a speed of in excess of 100 km/hr and so was the favourite car for the taxi-drivers in the city of Milan, Italy.
