FIAT introduced the 3rd generation of 1100 in 1962 with a new name FIAT 1100D. It came in various versions such as the sedan and stationwagon.
These were also made by Premier Automobiles (PAL) from the year 1964. First they were marketed under the same name, but later renamed as the Premier President in 1972. From 1974 onwards, it was called Premier Padmini until the year 2000 when they were discontinued.
