FAMO + Trailer + Aircraft Scale - 1:72

The FAMO was a very heavy-duty German made half-track vehicle that saw a lot of action during World War II. Power to this massive vehicle was provided by Maybach made 12-cylinder, 11 litre petrol engine. With two fuel tanks that could take up to 320 litres of petrol, these massive vehicles could carry a large payload over large distances.

Technically called a Sonderkraftfahrzeug (Special Ordnance Vehicle) these vehicles which moved with a combination of both tracks and wheels were used to tow guns. Over 2500 were built during the 1940s.

This FAMO metal model comes with a scaled down model of the Tiefladeanhänger für Panzerkampfwagen (a heavy-duty trailer that was nearly 14.5 metre long) with an war aircraft being towed.
