Albert H. Walker, an Englishman from Warwickshire after migration to USA took over the loss-making British coachbuilding American subsidiary, Weymann American Body Company that was located in Indianapolis.
Though only seven Duesenberg’s were built by A.H. Walker (each of them, a part of Duesenberg’s LaGrande Collection), all of them today command handsome prices in auction house.
This particular 1934 model had a 6.9 litre Straight-8 engine that gave a power output of 265 bhp. With a 3-speed manual gear this heavily built Duesy would do around 225 km/hr in 1934.
