The original name chosen for this model was Zipp, but later Dart was selected as the name. Coming in three variants with Seneca as the base variant, followed by the Pioneer, it was the Dodge Dart Phoenix with all the features. The model was produced during the years 1960-1963.
This particular Phoenix model came with a 318 Semi-HEMI V8 engine and a 4 barrel carburettor, electronic ignition, automatic transmission, etc. Since the car was meant for long distance cruise, the customer also had the option to select even a RCA (then a prestigious electronics brand) made record player that was mounted on the dashboard inside a vibration-proof casing.
