Chrysler-Fevre Argentina SA National’s Dodge 1500 is a model that evolved from the Hillman Avenger that was produced in the UK by Hillman (which later became a Chrysler subsidiary). It was named the Dodge 1500 as the engine had a displacement of 1500 cm³.
Soon after its launch, this model was a roaring success because the car was not just robust but an easy to-maintain car with low cost spares and the highest fuel economy.
A.C.A. (Automovil Club Argentino) is an automobile assistance group that provides help to its members when a car breaks down, tyre change, etc. (similar to India’s WIAA or AAEI or AAUI). This metal model is an exact rendition of one of their 5-door estate (stationwagon) version called Rural.
