
The Cooper T51 created history when legendary British car racing driver Sir Stirling Moss drove to win the race with this rear-engine car in 1959 after 72 laps.
It was in the same race that Jack Brabham also came 3rd in another Cooper T51.
Designed by Own Maddock and built by the Cooper Car Co. this car was mad history when it went on to win a championship with a rear-engine. In 12 years nearly 38 drivers raced their car and many brought only fame to this brand be it Bruce McLaren or the famous Stirling Moss.
