The Type 46 was the last series of Citroen buses that were made after the World War II.
It was in the year 1955 that Carde (coachbuilders in France) who were based in the city of Bordeaux, France made these buses that had an interior with rows of metal seats with an aisle. At the rear was a large seat and at the front was the driver's seat that was almost veered to the middle position. Access inside was the through double folding door.
Since the bus was built on a lowered chassis, the position for the spare tyre was pushed to the rear where it protruded out like the trunk of a car.
