Built for nearly a decade the Chrysler range of 300 series cars was so named because of her first V8 engine that gave an output of 300 hp. This was in 1955. The first luxury model was simply named C-300.

This replica of the 1962 model called the Chrysler 300H was unique as it was in this model that the tail fin design was done away with and appeared more streamline. With a 6.8 litre V8 engine under the hood, this car was available with 3-speed automatic transmission. Over 550 were produced during that year.
Marilyn Monroe first posed for this MGM Studio owned car in the 1960s. It is said that after her divorce from her husband Arthur Miller, she purchased one too.
