The Chevrolet Special Deluxe range was first of the series of cars that did not borrow any of the design elements of Chevy trucks. These new cars that appeared in the beginning of 1940s, appeared to have more smoother lines, seamless curves and had lots of steel and chrome trim.
Inside the car were fabric seats, and even a radio that was of vacuum tube type with integrated speaker.
