Named after the African antelope, the Impala range was first introduced by GM’s Chevrolet division in 1958. This name was given as a sub-brand to her range of Bel-Air that was being produced.
This scale model is a replica of the third generation model that was produced during the years 1961-1964. The customer had the option to select a variety of engines ranging from 3.8 litre to as high as 6.7 litre Turbo Thrust V8 engine for this boxy car. The customer also could choose between a manual and automatic gear transmission.
