The 2nd generation pony car, called the Chevrolet Camaro, was introduced to the public in 1970.
This car was powered by a powerful 3.8-litre, 6-cylinder engine and was draped in a new-body that had no rear-quarter glass windows. The doors provided were much larger and allowed the occupant to stand out more easily. The roof was a reinforced one for noise and rollover protection.
The new Z28, was known as the "Super Hugger," and was also produced in Venezuela.
