In the year 2000, a group of people decided to build a truck that could win races in the Super Race Truck Division. That team went on to form the BTC or the Buggyra Technology Centre. The first prototype built was named as MK 001 and they finished 8th in their first racing season. Next year the MK 002 was rolled out and this model had a podium finish. And the success story of the BTC continued.
This scale model is an exact rendition of the Freightliner truck, named Buggyra MK R-08 that was modified and driven by Czech driver David Vršecký in the year 2008. The aluminium designed cab truck was powered by a 12.5 litre GyrTech (a Czech based firm) made engine that gives 1050 HP.
