Ettore Bugatti’s son Jean personally was involved in the making of the 57 series of Bugatti. What turned out was one of the most expensive cars that Bugatti created in its history. He simply named it Bugatti 57SC - Atlantic.
With a design that resembles an aircraft, this tear drop car had kidney shaped doors and heavily raked windscreen. The body of this car had to be riveted entirely due to the special metal used (special alloy of both aluminium and magnesium) that made the car very light in weight. Magnesium being flammable welding could not be used to join any part.
And this car could run at high speeds and could do up to 200 km/hr.
