In 1909, a Benz employee Julius Ganss took up the lead to make a car that would shatter all records.
He designed the engine that would develop 184 hp at 1500 rpm and with further improvements would give 200 hp of raw power. The car weighed 407 kg and 6 of them were built. It would carry 2 persons the driver and a mechanic to pump fuel (by hand). Also nicknamed as Blitzen (blitz is lightning in German) only six were built out of which only four survive today.
This is a RESIN model car and therefore has high degree of detailing.
