
Vétra was the nickname for the Société des Véhicules et Tracteurs Electriques, a manufacturer of electric trolley buses. Vétra sold buses from France to far-flung Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.were also exported to Egypt.
The model VBH 85, with a short chassis, could accommodate 85 passengers, including 22 seats. Operated in the French city of Lyon, these trolley buses produced under license by Berliet, carried Alsthom TA 505C equipment.
