In the year 1979, STCRA, or Société des transports en commun de la région d'Arras (a municipality in Northern France), purchased a Berliet TLR 10R bus from the Paris Municipality bus operator (RATP).
This bus was actually a tractor-cab truck that was first purchased in 1954 by RATP. Four years later, it was converted into a mobile workshop for stranded buses inside the municipal limits of the city of Arras (a city, in the North of France). Inside the bus, there was a work table, a compressor, bench vise, a tow bar, etc.
