Bedford Peshawar Transit Bus Scale - 1:43

The J5 and J6 series of trucks from Bedford were manufactured in Pakistan and has achieved a cult status. The same chassis wasalso used for putting bus body shells. These are still popular there and used for transporting people between cities such as Peshawar.

Owners of these buses spend up to Pakistan Rs. 3,50,000 to decorate them. Many are given nick names so that other drivers can identify them.

One cannot simply miss them, if one is in Pakistan's North West Frontier Region (NWFR) the place where our 'Frontier Gandhi' (Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan) was born.

This scale model is very detailed and with intricatemotifs and makes it a rare metal collectible.
