BMW R100 RS was a air-cooled 2-cylinder, 4-stroke boxer 980 cc OHV engine motorcycle that was launched in the year 1976. Primarily created to counter the other touring motorcycle brands that were coming up, this model outscored others because of her performance.
Its factory-made 7 piece frame mounted fairing became an industry standard and a trendsetter for all other makers to follow. Until 1984 over 33,000 were produced.
