Built to replace the Audi R8 race version, the Audi R10 TDI is a 5.5 litre V12 diesel engine car that has two parallel turbochargers (made by Garett AiResearch). 

This car has been winning races since the time it was launched.

At the 2008 Le Mans held on 14-16th June at the Circuit de la Marthe, France, the Audi Sport North America team participating in the LMP1 category with drivers - British Allan McNish, Italian Rinaldo Capello and Danish Tom Kristensen won the race, taking the 1st position.
