The Carabo was a concept car that was presented by Alfa Romeo during the 1968 Paris Auto Show. Designed by the famous Italian design studio, Bertone, this car was the creation of her employee Marcello Gandini who was attached with them, then.
The design was considered to be revolutionary because of her wedge type shape. This design actually influenced a host of cars during that time.
This set consists of two cars in one box.
This metal scale model is a rendition of the original DINKY TOYS, a brand first sold in 1934. The manufacturer has tried to recreate the old-world magic by retaining the same features on each metal model as well as its box.
Dinky Toys were sold in India until 1955 when they were imported. Then in 1963 Meccano (owners of the brand) sold their factory to a firm in Calcutta called S. Kumar & Co. who started producing them locally. But because the finishing of these products were so poor they were sold as NICKY products.
